Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data H2J collects on howtofindajob.io, why, who sees it, and what you can do about it. H2J is operated by OnHires LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the data described here.

1. What we collect

Contact details. Your email address when you sign up for the free masterclass, and your name and email when you buy a program or write to us.
Payment details. Card and billing details are entered with our payment processor Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, your name, email, billing country and the plan you bought. We do not see or store your full card number.
Course and coaching materials. If you buy a program with feedback or support, the documents you send us, such as your CV, LinkedIn profile, messages and interview notes.
Messages. What you send us by email, chat or forms.
Technical data. IP address, browser type, device and pages requested. Our hosting provider records these in server logs for security and reliability.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as health information, government ID numbers or political views. Please do not include them in documents you send us.

2. How we use it, and our legal basis

No employer sharing without your consent. We do not send your CV or details to employers or recruiters unless you ask us to.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the service, under contract:

Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website.
Stripe, Inc., our payment processor.
Our email service provider, which sends the masterclass and course emails.
The course platform and support tools we use to deliver programs.
Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, and authorities when the law requires it.
A buyer or successor, if we sell or reorganize the business. We would tell you first.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.We have not done so in the past 12 months.

4. How long we keep it

Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Customer records and course materials you sent us: while you have access, and afterwards only as long as we need them to support you and resolve disputes.
Payment and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Server logs: for a short period, as set by our hosting provider.

5. Your rights

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other US states with privacy laws

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct inaccurate data;
delete your data;
tell you whether we sell or share it (we do not);
limit the use of sensitive personal data (we do not collect it on purpose).

We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. We respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need more time. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask to verify your identity. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies and tracking

See our Cookie Policy. We currently do not use advertising or analytics trackers. If we add them, we will update that policy first and honor opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where the law requires it. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no common standard, but we do not track you across other sites.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and your data is processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. When we transfer data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to personal data to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Children

The site and courses are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the site.
